- properly space v. improperly spaced
- HDPE is not for the autoclave
- different pans for liquids and solids
- "start" switch
- water
- bottom of chamber
- reservoir (improper v proper? high-low?)
- set temp
- set time
- pressure gauge at 0 psi
- slightly open door
- HOT!!!
Brian P. Josey 13:50, 27 October 2009 (EDT): I included a link to my journal entry on how to clean the autoclave. I am planning on creating a separate page on the protocols page on how to clean the autoclave, that way we can refer to it when we need it, and we can link to it in our journals. I am still in the process of cleaning up this page, I have my camera for taking pictures of all of the steps, but for the time being I can't load them. The lab's cameras don't work with Macs and I forgot my cable this morning.
