OpenWetWare has migrated to a new server!
User Migration
On September 23, 2017 all users were logged out and their passwords expired. In order to continue using OpenWetWare, you must:
- Log into your account using your old password
- If you forgot your old password, use the password reset button
- If your old email doesn't work anymore, contact us
- Set a new password
- Confirm your email address
- On your preferences page, go to User profile -> Email options -> Email Confirmation
- Check your spam folder! Our server is new and does not yet have an established reputation. You can help by marking our messages as "not spam". Thank you.
Things Ongoing
Some content may appear broken for a few days, as we fix pages with unused parser hooks and raw html.
It will take some time for searches and categories to work again, as those need to be re-indexed.
Disabled Features
The following features are no longer supported:
- de-wikified pages: these subdomains now redirect to their source pages
- private wikis: see here
you will need to move your data, either to a public wiki page or somewhere else
Details
The old server was marked read-only (no edits allowed) on Friday, September 22, 2017 and the new server was made public on Saturday, September 23, 2017.
