Welcome
The laboratory of Dr. Christopher Reid is part of the Department of Science and Technology at Bryant University in Smithfield Rhode Island.
Dr. Reid's research interests are in studying the biosynthesis, degradation, and biological role of microbial glycoconjugates using molecular genetics and biochemical approaches. Reid lab members are currently investigating peptidoglycan lyases and hydrolases from Gram-positive bacteria. Additionally we are working on a collaborative project with Women & Infant's hospital on the identification of antigenic targets of Candida albicans specific antibody fragments.
