Overview

1. Read release notes and changelog, UPGRADE file in the distribution
2. Test upgrade on a separate installation with its own images folder and database instance
3. Post upgrade announcement on OWW front page
4. Backup images folder and make a database dump
5. Lock the wiki
6. Update the codebase via Subversion
7. Run maintenance scripts if necessary (update.php and upgradeX_Y.php)
8. Test extensions using the feature test
9. Have a look at the new database schema
