Group Call - niche mapping group

• Manuscript did not get into Science
  • Will try Nature next
    • reformat first paragraph/abstract (Josh will do this asap)
    • 30 reference limit, we're at 37 references, maybe not strictly enforced at submission
    • needs to be shorter: maybe cut figure legends, maybe not a hard word count (Audrey will look into these limits)
    • check file format (single PDF?)
    • why didn't it go out for review? (did get internal editorial review)
      • probably not general audience relevant enough
      • can we improve this for Nature? Maybe add a sentence about global warming
  • PLoS Biology or other open access as second choice
    • could include more on global warming: show how ranges change for future environmental (predicted) variables
    • or write follow-up paper on this
