Results

Facial

• Afferents

Clear labelling of afferents on both sides. On the right side, the rostral bundle seems to reach the entry of V - the caudal bundle does not seem to go beyond the entry of IX. Although auditory is faintly labelled, the medial position of the facial afferents with respect to VIII is very clear. The caudal afferent bundle also seems to run on a more medial position. Cannot see a separation of the bundles into a medial/lateral part.

• Efferents

Both motoneuron groups are well labelled, processes are seen reaching the edge of the floor plate and a few perhaps going across or entering it

Hardly any label.
