Today will be spent studying neuroanatomy. I will be reading two textbooks 'Exploring the Brain' Bear & Paradiso and 'Central Nervous System' Brodal. I will be drawing lots of pictures going through the main areas of the brain as well as using Google images to view lots of different schematics for each region. I will then read Kuratani's papers and make summary notes on the cranial nerves in particular. --Reuben Cutfield 19:41, 6 December 2010 (EST)

9.30 - 10.45 AM: Incubated cryostat at -23 CT -23 OT. In the meantime completed staining for staining for MH002 sections cut on monday.

(Note: Please provide embryo names and links to their pages and detail in the embryo pages how the sections are labelled and stored)

11.00 AM: Continued cutting MH002 at -23 OT/CT . Had an issue with curling , tried Implemented suggestion from Satya to wipe the mould with my thumb and then cut. It seemed to reduce the curling and make it easier to pick up the section onto the slide.

12.10 P.M: Finished cutting.
