Fundamentally there are two ways of detecting things:
1.	Take advantage of the creation or degradation pathway of the pesticide
2.	Inducible promoter
3.	Engineer a receptor or receptor dimmers
4.	Take advantage of a membrane or secretion method. This idea is kind of weird. In this sense I am doing something involving channels and possibly trapping the chemical somewhere.
