- May
- Get practice with the lab protocols we'll be using this summer and establish baselines for termination efficiency
- Order the mutagenesis kit for genetic attenuators and the first gene for the bioplastic production
- June
- Transform and express the first bioplastic gene
- Create and characterize the desired library of terminator mutants
- July
- Transform and express the second and third bioplastic genes
- Synthesize the genetic attenuator project with the bioplastic production
- August
- Obtain all results by August 8
- Finish presentation (and paper for publication?)
- Fall
- Project and part documentation, Biobrick DNA to IGEM by October 29
- Jamboree on November 8-9!!
