July 5th to July 9th Insert your content here. Amanda: Tried different PCR mixes and protocols to try to clone out GesABC and Gol genes. Digested and ligated anything and everything that appeared on our gel. Tom: First week trying to clone golB and golS into a plasmid. Didn't work and we discovered that gel extraction/pcr purification causes us to lose almost all of our DNA.
