5. Adjust the pH of Tom's media as Tom suggested- DONE (looks to be ~7.7)

6. Grow up the same cultures on Tom's pH-adjusted media- DONE

7. Add 50 uL water to tube containing Japanese plasmid- DONE

8. Nanodrop the contents of the tube containing Japanese plasmid- DONE (21.6 ng/uL DNA)
