- Possible routes to functionally test Calvin Cycle in isolation (without proteorhodopsin system)
- D-erythrose-4-phosphate (available from Sigma, but very expensive and impure...) -- side note, interestingly, DE4P is apparently a vitamin B6 precursor in K-12, which may have something to do with why Ichiro said over the phone that they had to supplement their RuBisCO/prkA cultures with a small amount of LB or vitamin B6.
