Gene Check There a couple of good "housekeeping genes" to take note of to see if we are on the right track Silenced: CDKN2A and MYT1 are predicted to have good histone methylation peaks CDKN2A MYT1 Active: GAPDH and ACTB are predicted to have low histone methylation peaks GAPDH ACTB As it can be seen these genes show that silenced genes show significant peaks in histone methylation while active genes show little or no histone methylation peaks
