Conclusion

The assembly of 3D DNA structures is a big step toward utilizing origami structures in real-world applications. Although TEM images show promising results, there is much verification still yet to be done. SPR experiments will be done to quantitatively verify the structural assembly, along with AFM experiments to verify selfassembly. These experiments are being continued to further verify the assembly of the inner and outer barrel to complete the capsule. These structures are already being used in experiments outside the scope of this report to determine the stability of such DNA based structures in small animals along with the uptake of the structures in human breast cancer cells.
