2X SDS loading dye

• 1 mL 1M Tris-HCl pH 6.8 (fc=50mM)
• 42 mL 10% SDS (fc=2%)
• 1 mg Bromophenol Blue (fc=0.1%)
• 2 mL 100% glycerol (fc=10%)
• 1 mL 2M DTT (fc=100mM)

5x SDS loading dye (by Julien)

• 12.5 mL of 1M Tris pH 6.8 (f.c.=50mM)
• 100 mg of Bromophenol Blue (f.c.=0.2%)
• 25 mL of 100% Glycerol (f.c.=10%)
• 3.85 g of DTT (f.c.=100mM)
• 5 g of SDS (f.c.=2%)
• H2O up to ~50 mL

Note: f.c. values are the final 1X concentrations (NOT the 5X concentrations).
