Kinasing the 5' end of purchased RNA oligomers
- 1µl 10X kinase buffer
- 5µl water
- 1µl Rnase inhibitor
- 1µl 2µM RNA (fc=.2µM or 2pmoles total)
- 1µl T4 kinase enzyme
- 1µl gamma-ATP (Perkin-Elmer(NEN) BLU-502z)
Incubate at 37°C for 1 hr.
Clean with BioRad microspin columns.
Run RNA on denaturing gel.

I never bother to use a spin column before I gel purify. Works great for me.
