Rat Testing of inflammotin levels
Inferential Statistics
Human: ANOVA test was to be used on the human data set because there are more than two groups to test.
Rat: T-Test was to be used on this data set because there are only two groups to test.
Summary/Discussion
In the human data, all groups are statistically significant for all dosages.
In the rat study, the data was not significantly different between the control group and experimental group.
Therefore, the inflammotin levels (pg/mL) rose in humans, but not in rats. LPS showed independent variance between species.
