Objective

Catalysis and Stimulation of Cross-Linking Studies.

Description

  • 6 molal NaCl solution was prepared. Porphyrin was submerged in the solution for an hour at 70 degrees Celsius under constant stirring.
  • 6 m NaCl solution was prepared in a following manner:

(6 mol/1Kg H2O) * (57.54 g NaCl/mol NaCl) = 345.24 g NaCl/1 Kg of H2O. 1 Kg of water is equivalent to 1,000 mL of H2O. Therefore, 6 m NaCl solution should be equivalent to 34.5 g NaCl/100 mL H2O.
