| My graduate research is being carried out in the [http://systemsbiology.vcu.edu laboratory of Steve Fong] at VCU in Richmond, VA and in the [http://bayerlab.com/index.html laboratory of Travis Bayer] at Imperial College London in the UK, where I am a Whitaker International Fellow. I am working on developing tools for controlling gene expression in bacteria for metabolic engineering applications. In addition, I am actively developing synthetic biology educational material.
