Welcome! I'm a second-year doctoral student at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, VA and a member of Dr. Stephen Fong's [[Fong| ''Systems Biological Engineering Laboratory'']] in the Department of Chemical and Life Science Engineering. I am currently working on implementing novel metabolism in microalgae in addition to developing foundational synthetic-biology technology and educational material. Please feel free to [mailto:mcarthur@virginia.edu email me].
