Today in lab we dissolved our gel cut outs in tubes according to the gene jet gel extraction protocol. After separating our DNA out we ran the ran the gel of them again and got good results with sufficient DNA to use in our BioBrick samples. Our forward primer should be arriving next lab period at which point we will try to skip the T-vector step and go directly into biobrick plasmids and close our gene.
