In today's lab, we ran a second gel electrophoresis that included a DNA sample without a restriction enzyme. After we ran the gel, we took a picture that had inconclusive results. The leaf columns on the gel seemed to have the brightest band, so we are going to use the leaf DNA instead of the petal DNA for a PCR reaction next lab. We also diluted our oligos using oligos solution and PCR clean water, and placed them in new tubes with the IDT labels. The new tubes were placed in the -80 degrees celsius cooler for later.
