Date: 27 December 2008; Time: 0930; Agenda: Biofilm formation at 1 temperature for 48hr and 72hr.
- 5ml of overnight culture added to 150 ml LB broth in flask for 5hr incubation in a 37deg incubator.
Biofilm formation:
- Similar procedures carried out to grow biofilm, only that now they are left to grow for 48hr and 72hr at 30deg. 30rpm.
- Columns 1-6: M9 culture(centrifuged --> We decided to continue using this method as the M9 inoculum did not have any colonies growing when plated! (refer to 26 December)); Columns 7-12: LB culture
- Similar plating done to verify McFarland standards.
