Solution recipe for 1L NP-40 Buffer.
| 1. Measure 500 mL millipore H2O into a 1L beaker

| 2. Add 30 mL 0.5M Na2HPO4 (Sodium phosphate dibasic)
| 15 mM Na2HPO4

| 3. Add 20mL 0.5M NaH2PO4 (Sodium phosphate monobasic)
| 10 mM NaH2PO4
|
| 4. Add 100mL 10% NP-40 (Igepal CA-630 or Nonidet P-40)
| 1% NP-40
|
| 5. Add 30mL 5M NaCl
| 150 mM NaCl
|
| 6. Add 4mL 0.5M EDTA
| 2 mM EDTA
|
| 7. Add 2.0995 g NaF
| 50 mM NaF
|
| 8. Add 1mL 100 mM Na3VO4
| 0.1 mM Na3VO4
|
| 9. Bring volume to mL total with millipore H2O in a graduated cylinder
| Bring volume to 1L
