Conclusion
- 0.16 g loss of liquid via evaporation after 4 days at room temperature
- [math]\displaystyle{ 0.16 g \bullet \tfrac{1 mL}{1 g} \bullet \tfrac{1000 \mu L}{1 mL} = 160 \mu L }[/math]
- 32 rxn * 10µL - 40µL gel = 280µL sample in the plate; so >1/2 liquid is lost!
- BUT: there's still at least ~ 3µL left in all wells, which is plenty for fragment analysis
- BUT: when shipping, plate will be cold, and will only take 2 days
- thus, sealing this way is a-okay!
