Description of Area: - Many shrubs - Lots of bare, small trees - Concrete (abiotic) - 2 light poles (abiotic) - Dead leaves all around the area - About 6 small trees - A lone bird roams the area - A few spider webs on trees - Rocks/peddles all around (abiotic) - A few cigarette butts found on the concrete nearby (abiotic) - Litter (paper cup) (abiotic) - Abandoned/used bird’s nest found on one of the small trees - The lack of animals and prominence of dead plants is due to the cold season - The area my group had was a section from the little park next to Hughes Hall and the Amphitheatre
