February 8, 2012 Today, I took the ampicillin-resistant bacteria and centrifuged it to isolate the cells. This was done twice. After the mixture had been centrifuged, I isolated the cells and added pH 8 buffer and resuspended them. These were then put in the -80 degree Centigrade freezer.
