Change of Synthesis Fiber preparation failed for the third consecutive time. It was determined that the ratio of Lysozyme to Gold solution should be changed from 1:45 to 1:60. To this end, Maxi, Nicole, Matt, and I prepared 50 new fiber samples using this new ratio for half and attempted to create 25 samples with BSA using a 1:120 ratio of protein to gold. I personally prepared the BSA stock. See Nicole's notebook for relevant calculations and the exact protocol used for fiber preparation.
