Objective

  1. Data workup and UV-Vis spectra of the absorbed AuNP solution

Figure 1: Time sensitive spectra of the Java Fern root absorption of 25% purple citrate gold nanoparticles.

Analysis

Based on this data, it is seen that the difference in gold nanoparticle absorption is very minimal, so we are able to use either size of particles. Since the red nanoparticles were controlled best, it is probable to go with that synthetic method. However, protein mediated gold nanoparticles are usually more of a purple color than red, so it is also thought to go with that method. We will decide the best method after the protein mediated gold is used in absorption.
