Growth modeling using DMFit (Irene's project) DMFit and Baranyi 1994 Model designed to fit a linear phase in between two stationary phases (lag and plateau). Seems to give a good fit for growth, but what about decay? looking at data, most sets are fit well by ... in some growth experiments, the Baranyi model ramps up too quickly in the exp phase, and doesn't represent the lag that data clearly show. Decay data: seem fit decently by the model, even though it was not designed to fit decay processes.
