03/07/13 HEK293 Luc #4 fixed DAPI staining DAPI/Hoescht: made by Dr. Haynes; 5000x in sterile dH2O Diluted Hoescht to working concentration (1x) in 1xPBS. Fixing cells with formaldehyde Adding Hoescht to the cells, let sit in for 10 mins in the dark to develop signal Results: Good DAPI signal Detection Algorithm failed due to very high cell density Next steps: Growing and imaging cells in less dense conditions
