Hi there, I am professor at the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM) where I teach Genetic Engineering, Molecular Biology and SynBio courses. I have interest in molecular evolution and the search for new genes or biological circuits that may contribute to tackle real-life-problems. In this sense, everything that is alive has a history of adaptation to the environment they live in, understanding these relationships from molecular point of view is an interesting way to look for innovative solutions. I work in the DNA Technologies Lab at UFAM. I learned about OpenWetWare from surfing in the web, and I've joined it expecting an improve of my teaching materials for genetic engineering and SynBio classes. Also I'm eager to share results and research protocols .
