UV-Vis and Fluorescence Spectroscopy of Lysozyme Dilutions Today, each of the 5 groups performed a different dilution of a stock solution of lysozyme and analyzed them with UV-Vis and Fluorescence Spectroscopy. Our group did a 1/10 dilution of the 21.4uM stock (to make a 3mL 2.14 uM solution). The calculations are shown below: Volume of protein stock taken: 3mL*(1/10) = 0.3mL stock solution Volume of solvent (water): 3*(9/10) = 2.7mL solvent The resulting graph of the UV-VIS analysis is shown below.
