9/10 Ethanol Resting Cell Assay started at 8:00 O.D. of cells was adjusted to be approx. 1.0 (+-0.2) Cells were resuspended in 30 ml PBS 3 ml of 20% glucose and 1 ml of 90 g/L Pyruvate (equivelant of .09 g per 1 ml, which, when diluted in 30 ml is equal to 3 g/L) was then added. Samples were taken every 2 hours for 8 hours, and then a 24 hour sample was taken.
