- Grégory VERHOEST did his residency and fellowship in Rennes, and Paris (Necker). He is now a urologic surgeon in the department of urology at the University of Rennes. His clinical activity is based on laparoscopic and robotically assisted surgery to treat genito-urinary tumours as well as endourology. His research is focused on the evaluation of clinical and biological prognostic markers of renal cancer. He also manages the renal database for patients who had a surgery for renal cell carcinoma. Identification of molecular or genetic abnormalities can therefore be performed when comparing with clinical and pathological parameters.
- He is currently working on the efficacy and tolerance of type 1 angiotensin II receptor antagonist associated with tyrosine kinases oral inhibitors in a mouse model of renal cell carcinoma xenotransplantation. He has authored and co-authored more than 20 national and international publications.
