DNA extraction from hop tissue Main project page

Purpose

In order to clone the gene, we need hop DNA. The DNA will be extracted according to this protocol. Once we obtain DNA, it will be analyzed on a Agarose gel to estimate yield and integrity. The, we will use PCR to clone the gene. Here are the steps we plan for today:
