Our First Transformation Today we transformed Part BBa_I732095 from the parts registry into competent cells. This was a first time for our team and it went pretty smoothly. We plated four cultures that hopefully contain our plasmid as well as three standard controls. If we see growth on our plates that would indicate that our part is present in these cells and that we can begin to isolate the plasmid. Jessica is coming in Monday to create overnight cultures.
