The amount of PPIX will be kept at 100 mg, and the stoichiometric amount of Manganese Acetate Tetrahydrate used will be 72.8 mg. Preparation for Synthesis of Manganese PPIX

  • We are going to synthesize MnPPIX based on the previous synthesis of NiPPIX. The amount of PPIX will be kept at 100 mg, and the stoichiometric amount of Manganese Acetate Tetrahydrate used will be 72.8 mg. The procedure can be found here.
  • We are going to try the synthesis with 250 mg of PPIX as we did here, so the stoichiometric amount Manganese Acetate Tetrahydrate is 182.1325 mg.
