Overview
Acetonitrile is a common biosolvent for many chemical reactions including alkylation of tertiary amines, organic synthesis of oligonucleotides, and is used primarly as a important DNA synthesis buffer agent.
Use
- For (mobile-phase) polypeptide pairing of psychotropic alkylamines, see http://www.ebi.ac.uk/QuickGO/GTerm?id=GO:0008174#term=stats
- in SPPS (solid-phase peptide synthesis): As a mRNA ligand buffer agent for organic synthesis of orthogonal peptides/oligonucleotides...
