ObjectiveTo compare the the 69.5 and 161 molar ratios for nanoparticle synthesis and attempt to produce purple fibers at the 161 ratio and a purple solutions at the 69.5 ratio. Description69.5 Molar Ratio Two 69.5 molar ratio reaction mixtures were prepared by mixing 100 uL of 17.7 uM BSA, 50 uL of 2.9 mM HAuCl4. and 850 uL water. Tube A was left in the heat block set to 80°C for 3 hours. Tube B was placed in the heat block and was taken out for ten minutes every half an hour.
Two 161 molar ratio reaction mixtures were prepared by mixing 100 uL of 17.7 uM BSA, 100 uL of 2.9 mM HAuCl4. and 800 uL water. Tube C was left in the heat block set to 80°C for 3 hours. Tube D was placed in the heat block and was taken out for ten minutes every half an hour.
