Data Acquisition and WaveformsDAQ- Data acquisition, general anagram for any device or component used to gather data and information from the real world for the computer program. Before the computer system can measure a physical signal, the sensor or transducer must convert the actual physical signal into an electrical one, like a current or voltage signal.
