Project Description/Abstract

I aim to turn a Photorabdus luminescens operon currently in an E.coli plasmid (pTKX15) into a biobrick part. This involves removal of restriction sites within the operon used in making biobrick parts and the incorporation of the operon sequence into a biobrick plasmid.

Notes

  • Currently incorporating mutated sequence into backbone, awaiting transformation results
