Stock Solutions Preparation
4mM AgNO3 Stock Solution
0.0067948 grams of AgNO3 was first transferred into a 10mL volumetric flask, followed by the addition of deionized water to the mark to yield a final concentration of 4mM.
20mM Zinc Acetate Stock Solution
0.036696 grams of zinc acetate was first transferred into a 10mL volumetric flask, followed by the addition of deionized water to the mark to yield a final concentration of 10mM.
35mM Histidine Stock Solution
0.13576 grams of histidine was first transferred into a 25mL volumetric flask, followed by the addition of deionized water to the mark to yield a final concentration of 35mM.
35mM Cysteine Stock Solution
0.106015 grams of cysteine was first transferred into a 25mL volumetric flask, followed by the addition of deionized water to the mark to yield a final concentration of 35mM.
Nanoparticles Preparation
A total of twelve solutions using the gold, silver and zinc stock solutions were prepared according to the table below:

Results
The figure above displays the four solutions that were mixed using the 10mM gold stock solution. According to the figure above, Sample 2 was able to form the colloidal gold nanoparticle solution.
