Project Description/Abstract

Biopolymer fiber spinning processes and post-spinning processes

  • Syringe Extrusion: Using a syringe pump to extrude a polymer dope through a thin channel into a coagulation bath.
  • Centrifuge Extrusion: Using an extrusion column in a centrifuge to produce polymer fibers
