Objective Group 4 (Jamie, Nicole, Benjamin) will be working in my lab on the ocean optics spectrometer. Groups 1 (Nouf, Loukas, and Melvin) and 2 (Sydney, Andrew, and Matt) will be doing a Bradford Assay analysis on lysozyme. Directions for the assay can be found here. The difference between this protocol and the one we will use is that we will be making 3mL samples (to fit the plastic cuvettes that we'll be using). Groups 3 (Roberta, Maxi, and Asya) and 5 (Michael and Rebeca) will be working together to get FTIR, DSC and XRD spectra of the lysozyme AuNP fibers (using the 5 mL) fiber samples that we have sitting around.
