Implementation

  • Talking with our Frontiers Researcher, Rob Knight from the University of Colorado at Boulder, we got a very interesting idea for an implementation. If hypothetically we had an infrared receiver, we could interact in a non-invasive manner with an organism's gut microbiota. Assuming many parameters, we could model the irradiation required to trigger a decent host response, that is modeling the loss-of-information given by the host tissue filtering.
  • On a more ambitious note, we could model host response with a simple cell-automaton setting.
