Methods Synthesize PPF-20 using purines instead of DPNI. Mix 7.9 mg TCPP, 8.9 mg Zn(NO3)2•6H2O, 16.8 mg of a purine, and 30 μL of 1.0 M acidic EtOH. Purines used: adenine, guanine. Add 0.5 mL EtOH and 1.5 mL DMF. Sonicate. Heat at 80°C for 24 hr.
