Remains of the Day Ran TRFLP of Oomycetes on previous PCR of the California strawberry samples, but it didn't work, amplifying primer dimers exclusively. May repeat on a subset using a much higher annealing temperaute (ie 65 vs 56) or with the straight up DNA but using more cycles (ie. 55 vs 44). Got email back from Joji. Turns out they didn't need or intend to use the soil chemistry information I sent over. Wikid, I love wasting my time. He did seem to be interested in the ommycete tests I did however so I sent him stuff on that.
