Remains of the Day Send fungal TRFLP for sequencing Start soil trial with Santa Maria - extract 5 samples from 2 different frozen soils to compare sampling variation - extracted 5, 200 mg soil samples from 2 soils, TBG10 and MBA10 (TBG DNA concentrations were: 70, 30, 40, 20 and 25 ng/ul - MBA DNA concentrations were: 21, 67, 27, 15, and 13 ng/ul) --> Lots of variation in otherwise identical samples. O and I did two washes with WashBuffer2 sans EtOH, then one with EtOH (as its supposed to be). Eluted in 50ul of water, which I re-used to re-elute. Order tomato seed
