The Daily Grind

  • Autoclave 30 tubes and 30 lids on the p2 setting
  • Make 700mL of media comprised of 3.08g Minimal Organics Media, 14g agar, and 700mL dH20 > all adjusted to a pH of 6.0
  • Cool each tube on a slant of approximately 45 degrees
  • Being sterile, place 6 day old germinated seeds into the 30 tubes filled with the 20mL of now solidified media
  • Making sure a root from the seed is contacting the media, parafilm the top of the tube and make a 1cm slit in the parafilm
